| They went a really good pace, which suited
those coming from behind and certainly helped SPITFIRE, who had raced too
freely in recent starts but settled better here and came through to lead close
home. He had made a promising start to his career when winning his first two
races in the spring and this effort suggests he could be about to fulfil his
potential.
Racing Post - 15/9/2007 Quickened up well inside the
final furlong and ran on readily, although the Handicapper took a dim view of
the race. Spitfire is shaping up to be a lovely 2yo and now is 3 wins from 5.
