Little White Lie showed real tenacity to see off his rivals in the £100,000 Ladbrokes Bunbury Cup on the final day of the July Meeting at Newmarket. Trained by John Jenkins, the 14-1 shot was always prominent in the seven-furlong cavalry charge and gamely dug deep for Darryll Holland when pressed inside the distance.
